The Shared Value Project helps businesses tackle social issues profitably. Through education, training and partnerships, they empower organisations to align profit with purpose—creating lasting impact while driving economic success.
They engaged Joe Public to create a powerful theme for their annual convention, which aims to engage and empower members and new prospects in insightful discussions via keynote speakers, immersive exercises and interactive panel discussion groups.
The brief was ‘make it different, make it memorable, make it great.’
RESETTING THE PLAYING FIELD
We’ve all been to the standard cookie cutter convention, and been lucky to make it through the first few hours only by getting access to copious amounts of coffee. So the first thing we did was come up with a theme which was bold, brave and big. Because when you’re asking people to change the world, you need to start by changing their expectations.
BRAVE NEW WORLD
Our theme - Brave New World captured the energy perfectly. This was the first convention since COVID. The world was indeed different. We needed to shake off the lethargy and rest the landscape.
